This rewarding Academic Mentor role will see you help students build confidence within the subject area and culminate in you helping Year 11 students feel confident going into their GCSEs.

• Successful, high achieving Secondary School
• Supporting Years 7-11 within English lessons
• Leading 1:1 tutoring sessions
• Delivering small group intervention sessions
• Helping students feel confident in their GCSE exams
• £80 per day [inclusive of Holiday Pay] - Paid weekly PAYE
• Interviews taking place ASAP

 
We are looking for assured, ambitious and enthusiastic English Graduates to work as an Academic Mentor within English. Students at this school are very well behaved and attentive in their studies, they have high expectations for themselves and are fully engaged with school life.

 
As the new English Graduate, you will be given your own classroom to tutor small groups of students across Years 7-11. These intervention groups will be decided by the Head of Department for English and will consist of students who have been identified as needing additional support.

 
This English Graduate role would perfectly suit a English Graduate who is considering a career as a English Teacher but wants to gain a solid amount of school experience before applying for Initial Teacher Training.
